Rally to the Flag of Jesus!

As a people, we need to rally around the flag. Rally to a cause! Is there a cause worth rallying to? Is there a flag worth fighting for? Now, this isn’t necessarily the flag of a nation, but it is the flag of our King – Jesus! Our Lord and our Master, our Savior! As Christians, we are more, much much more than just citizens of a nation. We are citizens of heaven itself! We have become part of the Clan of Jesus! Jesus is our brother, and our God!

Romans 8:16-17 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.

This is such a wondrous revelation – that we are joint-heirs with Jesus! It takes some time so let that sink in. You are a joint-heir with Jesus Christ!

Galatians 4:7 Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.

We are of the Clan of Jesus! We wear His mark and the enemy and his forces can see that mark and they know we are heirs, indeed heirs of salvation. That’s why the forces of darkness throw so much at us. They don’t have to attack the people who are aligned with the world because they already have them – unless a son or daughter of light should cross their path and enlighten them too! You see, therein lies the crux of the matter. As long as we are light bearers, we make a difference in the lives of all those we encounter. Light can’t enter a room full of darkness and not change the atmosphere! We are a very real threat to the kingdom of darkness and the more we learn who we are, the more of a threat we become because the light in us shines ever brighter and reaches farther into the darkness!

God is so very, very good! He is calling to us: Arise! Awaken now! Shake off the last dregs of drowsiness and the shackles of defilement, despair and despondency! Stand up and be counted as one of My very own! Come to your senses! Look about you and see that the fields are indeed white and ripe for harvest! You are more than you know! You are valiant warriors for Jesus, the anointed one! Your enemy has you by the throat and will choke the life right out of you! Arise! Shake off all that weighs you down, and all that separates you from Me! Step away and turn from every form of evil! Turn back to Me! Do it now! All that is precious to you is in jeopardy and grave peril! Your enemy has no pity or remorse and he will kill, steal and destroy all he can from you: your spouse, your children and grandchildren, your inheritance and your very destiny. Rally to the flag of Jesus! Come to attention! Open your eyes and your ears and see and hear what the Spirit is saying! Arise, mighty ones! Arise, valiant warriors! The last great battle is in sight! Can’t you hear the sounds of battle? Can’t you smell the blood being spilled? It is time!
