The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time

Thomas Jefferson said:

“The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time, with the blood of patriots and tyrants.”

This is so true and yet we tend to forget how true this is. Liberty, i.e freedom, is not free. It has never been free and it never will be free. The forces arrayed against liberty are fearsome and deadly. They are gathering now because they smell blood, and they think we are easy pickings. It is amazing how far we have fallen and how many of our freedoms we have lost over the last several years. Our enemies are licking their lips in anticipation of the demise of our once great country, and they gather just as vultures do waiting for us to take our last gasp of breath.

They have miscalculated our resolve.  And, this miscalculation will cost them dearly. The majority of Americans are still God-fearing and God-loving people. Our nation was forged and birthed through divine intervention and we need the help and guidance of the Almighty once again if we are to survive this threat. Every true American must enter their prayer closet and beseech heaven for the salvation and preservation of our land.

The enemies of freedom must understand we will not go quietly into the night! In my spirit, I sense a great conflict on the horizon and it will not be stayed. America must fight for her liberty yet again. We are overtaken by our enemies and they reside in Washington D.C. There is no shred of decency, honor or morality left in our government. The people elected to govern us have thrown us under the bus and now are trying to wring the very last penny from our rotting corpses. They will do anything for money – filthy lucre. They will sell their own souls and their own children for a dime. They absolutely will not do the right thing. They must be replaced – by force if necessary.

Patriots must not shirk from this awesome responsibility. Our fore-fathers pledged their lives, their liberty and their sacred honor to create and defend this republic. We must not allow all that has gone before to be in vain. We must not allow the high price, paid for in the blood of patriots to be in vain. We must not allow the barbarians to seize the field and dictate terms to us. It is time to draw a line in the sand, and declare that we will go no further. Everything this current administration has planned and plotted is part of a grander scheme to destroy America. It is so blatantly obvious that they hate our land and it’s people and will do everything in their power to destroy us.

Where are the mighty men? Where are those will seize the field and never yield or withdraw? Time is running out and the window of opportunity is closing. Prepare your hearts! Gird up and arm yourselves! Batten down the hatches and bring in the stores because it will be rough – but, only for a short time. Those that man the ramparts must remain vigilant even though we now face an internal threat because those who hate us are waiting for the opportune moment to strike – and, that moment will occur when we are occupied with an internal struggle for independence.

Father, please give us wise and courageous leaders who will stand against the flow of wickedness that assails us. Please give us courage to stand up and stand against tyranny and despotism. Help us to shake off the shackles of dependency that are being placed upon us. Please help us Lord to reclaim our land and declare Jesus is Lord over America and all its people. Help our military leadership to remain extra vigilant during these long, dark nights and help them to defend this land and its people against all threats, foreign and domestic. Please strengthen our resolve and open our eyes to see and our ears to hear so we may be ready when the trumpet sounds. Father, please heal our land and its people. We are humbling ourselves before you and we ask you to heal us. We pray in the name of Jesus! Amen.
