The Resolution (Repost from Tom Leding)

Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the
Lord your God will be with you wherever you go. Joshua 1:9
I DO solemnly resolve before God to take full responsibility for
myself, my wife and my children.
I WILL love them, protect them, serve them, and teach them the
Word of God as the spiritual leader of my home.
I WILL be faithful to my wife, to love and honor her, and be willing
to lay down my life for her as Jesus Christ did for me.
I WILL bless my children and teach them to love God with all of
their hearts, all of their minds and all of their strength.
I WILL train them to honor authority and live responsibly.
I WILL confront evil, pursue justice and love mercy.
I WILL pray for others and treat them with kindness, respect
and compassion.
I WILL work diligently to provide for the needs of my family.
I WILL forgive those who have wronged me and reconcile with
those I have wronged.
I WILL learn from my mistakes, repent of my sins and walk
with integrity as a man answerable to God.
I WILL seek to honor God, be faithful to His church, obey
His word and do His will.
I WILL courageously work with the strength God provides
to fulfill this resolution for the rest of my life and for His glory.
As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.
Joshua 24:15

    1. I once heard a very wise man say ‘the home follows the man; if the man is absent so is everyone else’. As the man goes, so goes the family. If we want to turn this country around, we need men who will stand up, honor God and their families and be the leaders God appointed them to be. We start with one family, then two, then three, then … God bless you in the name of Jesus, the Holy Anointed One!

  1. Thank you for you message abkeyte it is a very strong confirmation of your heart commitment.

The Lord tells us that when we ask we receive if we ask according to His will, I’m sure some ask but do they believe they have received.

Luke 11:13 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your Heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask Him?

Jesus tells us to seek, to ask and to knock, and when we ask for The Holy Spirit we receive Him (see below) when we ask for God’s wisdom we receive it (see below) But He tells us if we ask and don’t believe we have received, we are unstable.

James 15: If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord. A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.

By your words in your message abkeyte and by some of your comments that I have read, you seem very stable.

    1. Thank you very much for your confirmation. God is indeed faithful and so very gracious to us! Praise God for His lovingkindness! I so much want to see the people of my homeland turn back to righteousness and choose life! If we only would, our loving Father would heal our land. He said it and He never, ever lies – never has – never will! I am committed to reaching all of the whomsoever wills I can find and helping them learn who they are In Christ! Oh what a Savior! Oh what a privilege we have to proclaim the gospel! God bless you with great favor, great joy, great love and great peace in the awesome name of Jesus!
