Just for the record, I believe prayer trumps positive energy every time!
For the last couple of months I’ve heard and seen people declaring positive energy toward a person, a situation or an event and every time I hear it or see a reference to it my Spirit gets angry. Why do we have to soft peddle the fact that we are praying? Why can’t we name the entity to whom we pray? I pray to God, the Almighty One! El Shaddai! He is high and lifted up! He is so holy that sin and evil, death and disease can’t exist in His presence!
Do we understand that we have been given the name that is above every other name to use in our prayers?
John 14:13-14 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.
When my family, friends or I need help – make no mistake about it – I pray to Lord God Jehova Rapha – the Lord my healer. He is the ever-present One! The Almighty! I will not bend my knee or pray to some no-name god that has eyes but can’t see, that has ears but can’t hear and that has a mouth but cannot speak! My God sees me, hears me and answers me! Praise God! And, I always pray in the name above every other name – Jesus, The Holy Anointed One!
John 16:23 Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you.
Praise God for His loving-kindness and mercy toward men! Praise Him for His complete provision for us in every aspect of our lives. Praise God for who He is – the Great I AM that I AM! Praise Him and always pray in the name of Jesus! Amen and amen!
