Every now and then, the Lord puts an onus on me to pray and I have been under such unction since the Tuesday before election day (11/4/14). I have had a continual sense of foreboding and impending calamity. For quite some time, the enemies of freedom have been gathering and preparing for an onslaught against America. I’m not the only who senses the danger we face and I am not the only one praying to stop or mitigate the disaster that is planned against us.
I am reminded of Rees Howells and his intercession during the battle of Britain. We need to be like-minded and take the spiritual battle to the enemy of our souls. The battles we will face, indeed those we are facing now, are not battles with flesh and blood – though it may seem to be so. Hitler and his cohorts did not come up with their final solution on their own – they were driven by dark forces. And, so are those arrayed against the people of the book. Their animosity and fiendish passion against us is demonically inspired and fueled. Our fight is against those forces that are behind these people driving them to such wickedness:
Ephesians 6:12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.
I have been praying a daily battle prayer for America and I hope others will join me in agreement. Prayer is our secret weapon, especially when we come together in agreement, in prayer.
Father, in the most holy and precious name of Jesus, the Anointed One, the Holy One of Israel I pray and ask for godly leadership here in America. I pray every person in elected and appointed offices in the federal service and in every state capital would fear you and seek to obey your commandments and precepts. I pray Father, that you will replace all those who do not fear you with those who will fear you and obey you. Please give us leadership that will humble themselves before you and forsake their own agenda’s to seek your face and obey your leading. Please give us godly leadership and lead us back beneath your wings as one nation under God. I pray Father that we as a people, and as those who are called by your name, would humble ourselves and turn from our wicked ways, and diligently seek your face and your will that you will hear from heaven and heal our land.
Dear heavenly Father, in name of Jesus I bind every spirit that drives our enemies to hate us so much. I bind every spirit of hate, every spirit of murder and rage and every fiendish spirit driving people to commit horrendous acts of atrocity against innocent children and people. I pray Father for supernatural intelligence and divine insight for our armed forces, border patrol and law enforcement agencies that they would be given eyes to see and ears to hear so they would see and understand all the plans of the enemies against America and her people. I pray Father that all the plans and purposes of these enemies, all their weapons caches and resources would be fully open and exposed to those sworn to defend this land and her people. I pray Father that all our plans and purposes, resources and weapons would be completely hidden and indiscernible by our enemies and all of their forces.
I speak confusion, disarray, dissent, dismay and turmoil into all the plans of the enemy and his forces against America and her people. I declare and speak chaos, confusion and mutiny into the ranks of all the forces arrayed against us; that there would be indecision, no vision, no unity of purpose, contention and disagreement about all their plans and purposes. I speak and declare that all the plans and purposes of the enemies against America and her people are cast down, spoiled, naught and never to come to pass in the name of Jesus. Every plan of these enemies will fail in the name of Jesus. All of their weapons and resources would be seized and spoiled by our forces, all of their travel and connections would be fully open and exposed and exploited by our intelligence forces and there would be great turmoil and confusion in all their ranks. Again, I proclaim that all the plans of our enemies and all of their cohorts against America and her people are now cast down, spoiled, naught and never to come to pass in Jesus’ name.
Father, I thank you and praise you that our security forces will prosper and have great favor in the areas of battle, interdiction, intelligence gathering, analysis and execution of all our plans to thwart the plans and purposes of our enemies. I pray our force’s assets, plans, purposes and resources would be completely hidden from our enemies while all of their assets, plans, purposes and resources are fully exposed to us. I pray Father for great favor in battle as our forces engage the enemy and that we would deliver devastating blows to the leadership and infrastructure of the enemy. I pray Father that we would not relent from our pursuit and destruction of these forces until they are completely eradicated and erased from the earth. We will not strike them three times as Joash did, but we will strike them up to ten times until they are no more.
2 Kings 13:18-19 18 Then he said, “Take the arrows”; so he took them. And he said to the king of Israel, “Strike the ground”; so he struck three times, and stopped. And the man of God was angry with him, and said, “You should have struck five or six times; then you would have struck Syria till you had destroyed it! But now you will strike Syria only three times.”
Father, I speak great courage, insight, understanding and wisdom into all of our people and security forces. Give us clear vision while our enemy is blinded. Give us good hearing while our enemies ears are stopped up with infection. Give us godly and sound leadership while our enemies have only confusion and hysteria. I pray Father that you will shatter the teeth of our enemies until they are no more. Please help us Father to humble ourselves before you, to repent and turn away from our wickedness and to stand against evil and tyranny in all of its forms with conviction and courage. Help us to defend the innocent and the defenseless and to rescue those bound by the enemy. Once more I declare that all the plans and purposes of the enemies against America and her people are cast down, spoiled, naught and never to come to pass in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus! Amen!
