James 1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.
Father, we thank you that you have provided the light of the world to lead us home to you. We thank you that you provided the road map to give us the instructions we need to navigate treacherous waters. We thank you that you have given us the inner compass to always do the right thing!
With these three witnesses – the Word who became flesh and walked among us, your Holy Scripture that you uphold more than your own holy name and the precious and ever present Holy Spirit who is closer than a friend or a brother – how can we loose?
You thought it all out – you knew the end before you completed the beginning. And, you provided absolutely everything we need to become Sons and Daughters of God! You said “Let there be light” and light came flying out of your mouth at 186,000 miles per second and it has never slowed down. You are the Father of Lights, the Almighty One, El-Shaddai!
Father, we thank you and praise you for being God! We thank you and praise you that there is no shadow of turning in you – that you are as steady, strong and surefooted as you ever were and we can rely on you for everything. We thank you for your love of us! We thank you for Jesus, the Holy Anointed One! We thank you for your Word! We thank you for the Holy Spirit! You are an awesome, incredible, loving and magnificent God! And, we absolutely adore you!
