What an amazing promise! What an awesome declaration! We should stop and consider what the Lord is saying here.
I have read, and read, and read this verse over and over again during the course of the last 15 years and it seemed like I really saw it for the first time this morning. You see, I read Proverbs every day – whatever chapter is for the date. Today is the twelfth so I read Proverbs 12 this morning.
Those who know the Lord, and are earnestly seeking him have so much more available to us than we realize. We are those who walk in the favor of the Most High, yet we often act like we are in trouble, or under assault. I don’t understand why more of us are not reaching for the stars so to speak. We are the Children of God, joint heirs of Jesus the Anointed One! The whole idea that we will partake of life, and do so eternally should make us giddy with excitement! What an incredible future awaits each one of us!
If only we could believe the Word, and the words spoken about us! In the way of righteousness, there is life! And, life everlasting! Life to the full!
Romans 8:37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
1 John 5:4-5 For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?
Dear heavenly Father, please help us to know who we are In Christ – so we can shake the world for Jesus! Amen!
