What a terrible thought! And, yet – that is exactly what happened. What if they came for your children this very day? Stop and pause to consider your response.
Some will think I’m speaking of Germany in the 1930’s. But, am I? Simply replace the world Nazis with almost any government or any islamic entity from today’s headlines and this could be here and now – even today.
You think I’m kidding or this is some sick twisted joke or play on words? You can read about it in most any objective news journal. People need to wake up and realize that evil – pure, unadulterated vicious brutal and despicable evil exists and is thriving in the world today. Every group that terrorizes, tortures and kills others because they do not believe the way they do is evil. They may call us the great satan, but that is simply a ruse to get us to look the other way. We must take the blinders off and look evil full in the face. The world is full of evil because we are living in a fallen world.
Are you afraid of these wicked people? Do you fear for your children – what might befall them if they ever come into the clutches of these despicable people? Or, are you complacent – as long as it doesn’t happen while I’m alive it doesn’t matter to me (remember Hezekiah)? There is much to fear. Especially, if the Lord is not counted among your relatives. However, if the Lord is near to you and yours, then there is nothing to fear.
Have you ever considered that the fight we face might be a fight of the mind, the soul and spirit rather than a physical assault? What if the enemy comes and steals their minds? What if he pollutes their souls to the point they abhor themselves and loose sight of who they are? What if they are taught that they come from an inferior race that only did things for profit or advantage – never for any altruistic purpose? What if they are taught to hate who they are and where they came from? What if they lose their identity altogether?
A physical assault is actually the easiest battle to fight. It is hard to imagine how devious and patient the enemy is when it comes to our children. However, we must face the fact that the battle for them is already in progress, in fact it has been for some time and we need to realize how desperately we need to engage the enemy right now – before it is too late. The enemy is in the government, in the schools and universities, health care, and virtually everywhere you look! All those who deny the truth are against us.
Psalm 118:6 The LORD is on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me?
7 The LORD taketh my part with them that help me: therefore shall I see my desire upon them that hate me.
8 It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man.
9 It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in princes.
10 All nations compassed me about: but in the name of the LORD will I destroy them.
11 They compassed me about; yea, they compassed me about: but in the name of the LORD I will destroy them.
12 They compassed me about like bees: they are quenched as the fire of thorns: for in the name of the LORD I will destroy them.
13 Thou hast thrust sore at me that I might fall: but the LORD helped me.
14 The LORD is my strength and song, and is become my salvation.
Praise God! The Lord is our defender. The Lord is the lifter of our head! The Lord will defeat our enemies and all those who hate us!
- My trust and my faith is in the Lord who is faithful!
- In the furnace of affliction, I was chosen by the Lord.
- When I hear the sounds of battle, I run to join the fray.
- I will not turn my back to the battle or seek refuge; I will join the fight for freedom and righteousness.
- I believe in the Son of God and I have everlasting life!
- My enemies do not believe in Jesus and the wrath of God abides on them!
- I do not fear the wicked for their candle shall be put out!
- I do not fear what my enemies may do to my body for my Lord has redeemed me and will provide a new body for me!
- I do not fear death for my Lord has conquered death and the grave!
- Fear has no power over me or any of my family for we live by faith in Him who is faithful!
- We will never submit or surrender to evil, but will fight the good fight of faith to the very end.
- We will live and praise God with all of our being for as long as we draw breathe, and then in heaven forever!
Praise the Lord! Bless the Lord, oh my soul! Bless His holy name! Hallelujah – we win!
When they come for our children, there will be a fight. It will be a fight like no other ever imagined. We will not go quietly into the night nor will we yield the field. The Lord of Hosts is our defender. We are children of light and not of the darkness. We must teach these values to our children and grand children – NOW. The wolves are at the door… It’s time to take a stand.

I do wonder what will be the future for my family, particularly my grandchildren. I liked your reminder that the enemy is seeking to engage the minds of our children even now. I would like to wrap them up in cotton wool, protect them from ever hearing falsehoods, but it’s not going to happen. This is the world they live in, and it’s going to get worse. This It is a time to be vigilant and make sure we are having a strong input in their lives.
Yes, there are so many voices vying for their attention and many are not coming from righteousness. When I learn what is being taught, and how it is being taught – I want to yank them all out of the schools and teach them the truth. Great deception, and subtle mind control is the order of the day. There is great danger here and the scale of it is alarming. I think the best thing we can do is to teach discernment to our children so they learn to measure what they see and hear against the truth in God’s Word. God bless you in the matchless name of Jesus!
