As I searched the headlines this morning, and skimmed several articles about muslim violence and horrors, Christian baiting and hate crimes, mall violence on Black Friday, whites against blacks and blacks against whites, and all the other grim and despicable events that are currently in the news, I was struck by an overwhelming sense we are being setup.
So many things are happening all at once across the board, that we would consider aberrations just a few short years ago, and today have become the norm. It’s absolutely amazing how far and how fast we have fallen. I am 100% convinced we are facing cataclysmic events that will change our world forever. There is so little decency left to us. So few good men and women. It is frightening and infuriating all at once.
There are diabolical forces at work in our government, our land and in the world that are set upon our destruction. These forces are not flesh and blood.
Ephesians 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
So, how do we the called out ones respond? We pray, and pray and pray and then pray some more. Our fight is in the heavenlies and we must be on our knees and doing battle every day now. The seasons are changing, winter is near upon us, and gross darkness threatens the land and our people. We are the last bastion of defense and we must come to arms now! Grab your swords (the Word) and face our enemies, bind and destroy their works and their influence. Declare love, joy, peace, sanity, goodness, kindness, generosity, self-control, faith, temperance, and alertness of mind and Spirit and that these qualities and traits will abound in our land and in our people. Set boundaries and declare that no enemy of the people or the land can infringe upon these boundaries. Cover your loved ones, and your neighbors and co-workers with the blood of Jesus and speak life into their lives.
We are to be salt and light, repairers of the breach and comfort to those less fortunate. Let us embrace these ideals and live them now!
Luke 4:18-19 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.
Father, please give us supernatural intelligence, words of wisdom and words of knowledge about how to direct the battle against our foes. Give us insight into the workings of the enemy and his forces and keep us close to your heart Father. Please give us great courage, great favor and great wisdom to stand and declare your Word to a lost and dying world. Help us Father when we’ve done all we can to stand and see your deliverance manifest and save those you’ve chosen from the foundations of the world! Help us Father to hang on and trust you for everything we need and will need. We love you Lord! Thank you for Jesus! Thank you Father for the opportunity to see these things and to see the end of your plan! We bless you oh Lord! Bless the Lord oh my soul and all that is within me bless His Holy name! I pray in the matchless and mighty name of Jesus, the Holy Anointed One! Amen!
