Endures Forever!

There is a phrase, endures forever, in scripture that occurs 51 times in the New KJV and 50 times in the KJV (although it is endureth in the old English) that always grabs my attention every time I read it. After a wee bit of study I learned a few other things about this phrase.

[1 Peter 1:25 NKJV] 25 But the word of the LORD endures forever.” Now this is the word which by the gospel was preached to you.
[Psalms 117:2 NKJV] 2 For His merciful kindness is great toward us, And the truth of the LORD [endures] forever. Praise the LORD!
[Psalms 119:160 NKJV] 160 The entirety of Your word [is] truth, And every one of Your righteous judgments [endures] forever.
[Psalms 135:13 NKJV] 13 Your name, O LORD, [endures] forever, Your fame, O LORD, throughout all generations.

His Word, His Truth, His righteous judgements and his name will endure forever!

Then, 4 times we hear:

[Psalms 111:3, 10 NKJV] 3 His work [is] honorable and glorious, And His righteousness endures forever. …
10 The fear of the LORD [is] the beginning of wisdom; A good understanding have all those who do [His commandments]. His praise endures forever.

Then, I learned his righteousness and his praise will endure forever. And, finally we are told 42 times (though I didn’t list them):

[Psalms 107:1 NKJV] 1 Oh, give thanks to the LORD, for [He is] good! For His mercy [endures] forever.

His mercy endures forever – in 42 separate and distinct verses!
