~ A place and a name ~
In Isaiah we read [Isaiah 56:4-5 NKJV] 4 For thus says the LORD: “To the eunuchs who keep My Sabbaths, And choose what pleases Me, And hold fast My covenant, 5 Even to them I will give in My house And within My walls a place and a name Better than that of sons and daughters; I will give them an everlasting name That shall not be cut off.
Emphasis mine. In the Hebrew this is yad vashem which means a place and a name for those who before were not even allowed to worship Adonai. A way would be made for gentiles, and all those who were previously excluded from a relationship with the Lord, for Adonai is Lord over all!
[John 1:12 NKJV] 12 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name:
YadVashem is a memorial in Israel that honors non-Jews who saved Jews during the Holocaust, at personal risk, as the “Righteous among the Nations”. YadVashem is the second most-visited tourist site in Israel, after the Western Wall. It receives some one million visitors annually and admission is free. What a testimony!
Indeed, our God has made a place and a name for all those who seek him and keep his word – eunuchs, foreigners, the lost and the bound. He has provided a name for them that will never be cut off – Yeshua Ha-Mashiach! The Holy Anointed One! Lord of Lords and King of Kings – Jesus!
Thank you Father for Jesus! Thank you that your word will not return to you void or empty but will accomplish all you meant it to do! Thank you Lord, that your mercy for us stands forever! Thank you Lord for the Holy Spirit and for your salvation! We love you Lord! In Jesus’ name! Amen!
