Restore the Foundations

The LORD will always guide you; He will satisfy you in a sun-scorched land and strengthen your frame. You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail. Your people will rebuild the ancient ruins; you will restore the age-old foundations; you will be called Repairer of the Breach, Restorer of Streets of Dwelling. [Isaiah 58:11-12, Berean Study Bible]

The Lord kept emphasizing restore the foundations to me this morning. So, here’s my prayer

Dear heavenly gracious Father, we love you Lord! We love you with all our heart and soul, with our strength and with all our might! And, we will love and adore you forever! Hallelujah! Father, you know the times we live in and we know you created us and set us here in this time – for a time such as this. We will stand in the gap for a lost and dying world, for America and her people and for all those bound and oppressed by the enemy.

In the name of Jesus, we bind every spirit of anger, deception, division, hatred, lawlessness, rage, rebellion, rioting and strife assigned to America. We bind you to your roots and declare all of your assignments against our land and its leaders are cancelled now and forever, and we command you to leave us now and go where Jesus wants you to go. We bind every principality, every power, every ruler of the darkness of this age and every spiritual host of wickedness in heavenly places in the name of Jesus and command you to cease and desist all your efforts to make America fall. Lord, we loose calmness, forgiveness, kindness, love, patient and peace into our land and it’s people right now in Jesus’ name. We rebuke the enemy and declare the power of the blood of Jesus over all of us right now in Jesus’ Name. We are covered by the blood of Jesus. We are under the blood covering and protection of Jesus Christ.

Lord, please help us restore the foundations of our land and our people. Lord, please help restore and rebuild our education system. What once was a beacon of light is now a cesspool of division and deception that instills contempt of everything good into our children. Replace every liberal educator and those with their own agenda with people who love you, love your Word and who will be true and faithful to our history. Restore our education system so our young people can be taught the truth and how to love you and our land.

Lord, please help us restore the foundations of our land and our people. Lord, please help rebuild the love of our people for their homeland. America is not perfect, but America has done some great things and can do even greater feats in the future. Help us to accurately portray the good things going on in our country, the good our leaders are doing and the heart of America which is kind and generous. Yes, we have issues, but we can face them together and resolve them in due course.

Lord, please help us restore the foundations of our land and our people. Lord, please give us godly and wise leadership at every level of government in our land. Replace every person who loves death, supports the destruction of the innocent and who hates you with people who love you, who love your Word and who love life. Give us godly and wise leadership Father and begin the healing of our land.

Lord, please help us restore the foundations of our land and our people. Lord, please rebuild the church in America. Give us godly men and women to lead us into righteousness; people who will not compromise with sin and will boldly stand for justice and righteousness and not succumb to the whims of society. Let their sermons cause smoke to arise from our souls as we hear the truth and wail for mercy.

Lord, please help us restore the foundations of our land and our people. Lord, please rebuild our infrastructure – strengthen the military, the police and fire departments across our land. Give them godly and wise leadership as well Father so they can do the important work you have assigned them to do. Bless them and their families for the risks they endure as they protect the innocent, property and the gates of our cities and our land.

Lord, please help us restore the foundations of our land and our people. Lord, please rebuild our legal and justice system. Replace every liberal and left leaning judge on every court throughout this land. We need judges who will judge with impartiality and fairness in accordance with your Word. Help us Lord to reclaim what the enemy has stolen and give us a strong, reliable and just justice system once again.

Lord, please help us restore the foundations of our land and our people. Lord, please rebuild our arts and entertainment industry. Replace all those who hate you, who hate righteousness and hate America with people who love you and America. While we are free, let us celebrate that and be grateful to you for all your blessings and let our arts and entertainment industry highlight that rather than the darkness they currently celebrate.

Lord, please help us restore the foundations of our land and our people. Lord, please heal our families. Restore the order of the family – You, then the father, mother and finally the children. Remove all aberrant and deviant sexual tendencies and the acceptance of them from our society. Marriage is between one man and one woman in accordance with your Word. Help our families to heal – restore one member to another in love and harmony and heal all the broken and hurt places in our souls, spirits and bodies. Abolish the abomination of abortion in all of its forms in our land! To destroy and take innocent life is horrible and desperately wicked. Please help us to stop this completely.

Lord, please help us restore the foundations of our land and our people. Lord, please heal our land! You see how it is – the enemy has taken way too much ground in all of these areas. Give us the courage and boldness to take it back! Give us wisdom and discernment so that we will know how to pray and dismantle the structures of the enemy! For all this, we pray in Jesus’ matchless and precious name! Amen!
