Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go. [Joshua 1:9, NKJV]
Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. [Romans 8:37-39, NKJV]
Yes, the times we live in are incredible – serious and disturbing, maybe even frightening. But, our God, our Lord is on His throne and he will not be moved from there by anything or anyone. He is sovereign – absolute and forever! And, He is not dismayed or disturbed by anything that is going on – in fact he called it out so we could be prepared. So we could be prepared to stand and fight!
Why do the nations rage,
And the people plot a vain thing?
The kings of the earth set themselves,
And the rulers take counsel together,
Against the Lord and against His Anointed, saying,
“Let us break Their bonds in pieces
And cast away Their cords from us.”
He who sits in the heavens shall laugh;
The Lord shall hold them in derision. [Psalm 2:1:4, NKJV]
The Lord always prepares a remnant and we are that remnant! God has a plan – He always has a plan, and we are His weapon of choice. He could take these things – these issues out with merely a thought, but He has placed us here in this time – for a time such as this! If only the church could get this! We are so privileged to be alive and engaged at this time! We are the Lord’s chosen – and we His anointed ones – His weapon against the wiles of the enemy!
He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil. [1 John 3:8, NKJV]
We are the ones chosen and anointed to stand and fight at this time – this is our fight! And, we are more than conquerors through Jesus who loves us!
Father, please remind us of who we are, how very effective our prayers are in confronting evil and how awesome this opportunity is to stand with you. Give us great courage, keen insight and profound wisdom in dealing with the issues the world and America faces. In the name of Jesus, I bind every spirit of anger, deception, division, hatred, rage, rebellion, strife and sorcery arrayed against America, against our President and Vice President and against our people. I bind you to your roots in Jesus’ name and declare all your assignments are cancelled now and forever! Depart! Leave us now and go where Jesus wants you to go. I loose calm, gentleness, kindness, love, mercy, patience, peace and unity into the body of Christ, into America and into the people of America right now in Jesus’ name. Help us Lord! Heal our land and bring revival! I pray in Jesus’ name! Amen!
