Oh wisdom – often elusive, shrouded in mystery and difficult to apprehend! Not! The Word tells us exactly how to obtain wisdom. Solomon asked the Lord for wisdom, and was granted so many other wonderful things along with that wisdom!
On that night God appeared to Solomon, and said to him, “Ask! What shall I give you?” And Solomon said to God: “You have shown great mercy to David my father, and have made me king in his place. “Now, O LORD God, let Your promise to David my father be established, for You have made me king over a people like the dust of the earth in multitude. “Now give me wisdom and knowledge, that I may go out and come in before this people; for who can judge this great people of Yours?” Then God said to Solomon: “Because this was in your heart, and you have not asked riches or wealth or honor or the life of your enemies, nor have you asked long life–but have asked wisdom and knowledge for yourself, that you may judge My people over whom I have made you king– “wisdom and knowledge [are] granted to you; and I will give you riches and wealth and honor, such as none of the kings have had who [were] before you, nor shall any after you have the like.” [2 Chronicles 1:7-12 NKJV]
I believe the secret to Donald Trump’s success is that a profound degree of wisdom has been deposited in him too! I’ve wondered, even before he elected to run for president, why he was so successful and this morning the Lord placed it on my heart to search out this matter. He is not motivated by money – though he seems to have the Midas touch. He is not motivated by position or prestige – he honestly loves and respects the common man and woman. So, what drives Mr Trump? Listen to how he talks to people. He is kind and considerate; yet bold and blunt all at the same time. Listen to his words. He mentions or brings up wisdom – a lot! I recall him speaking of Solomon and of wisdom very, very frequently.
I believe our President asked the Lord for wisdom rather than riches, wealth or power and the Lord bestowed all of that on our President! Remember, the Lord changes not.

That’s why the things of this world – power, prestige, or money can’t buy his devotion or cause him to deviate from his course! Clearly, he is a man after God’s own heart, just as prophesied by Kim Clement! Praise God!

Father, we hold President Trump and Vice President Pence up to you Lord and we ask you to continue to deposit wisdom into these men! Bless them with humility, keen insight, discernment and wisdom to lead our people out of the wilderness we are in! It is so refreshing to see the Republican National Convention taking the high road of hope and love! We thank you Lord for the leadership of these two men and their families and we pray a special hedge of protection around, over and under them and their families. We declare right now, that no weapon formed against them shall prosper and that every tongue that rises against them in judgement shall be condemned! We ask for special blessings for them and their families and that they will continue to walk in the favor of the Most High. We pray in Jesus’ mighty name! Amen!
